The Problem
A major ransomware attack completely encrypted a production environment, including all VMs and primary backups, threatening complete business shutdown and data loss.
The Fix
Leveraged pre-configured immutable storage repositories to bypass compromised data, then executed a full environment restoration from clean backup tiers.
The Impact
Brought the client fully back online in less than 8 hours with zero data loss.
Lead Engineer — BCDR
Automated BCDR Deployment & Alert Management
The Problem
A multi-site enterprise lacked a unified BCDR architecture, with fragmented backup solutions and no centralized alerting or automated issue resolution.
The Fix
Deployed a comprehensive BCDR architecture utilizing Axcient and Veeam across a multi-site enterprise environment, integrated Backup Radar for centralized alert automation, and wrote PowerShell scripts to proactively resolve local cache errors.
The Impact
Achieved a near 100% backup success rate and significantly reduced RTO across all sites.
